I Declare War Explodes Onto Home Video!

Jason Lapeyre and Robert Wilson's award-winning capture-the-flag epic I Declare War comes home on Blu-ray and DVD November 12!

"[P]itch of the more fascinating pictures of the year." –

Winner of the Audience Award at Fantastic Fest 2012, and likened to a mashup between Stand By Me and Platoon, Jason Lapeyre and Robert Wilson's I Declare War tells the story of a high-stakes game of capture-the-flag. Although conflated by the powers of imagination, the war is no less real, particularly when the stakes of friendship are on the line.

Directors Lapeyre and Wilson set out to construct an action film from the darker side of a 13-year-old’s mindset, while also examining sincere conflicts of enduring friendship. Using the kids’ overactive imaginations, a neighborhood forest setting becomes a full-fledged woodland battlefield: sticks transform into guns, water balloons into grenades and eyeballs can shoot lasers. Fred Topel of Crave Online has praised the film as "intelligent and emotional...a thrilling war movie without any actual bullets or explosions where you're completely invested in who wins.”
