Yorgos Lanthimos is back in the nastiest possible style.
The trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos' new film THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER dropped today, and it's every bit as disconcerting as the movie itself.
It does, however, spoil some of the more potent and absurd images in the film, which if you're familiar with Lanthimos' filmography (DOGTOOTH), you'll know is a pretty big thing to spoil. I'd watch only if you're not already 100% convinced you're going to see the movie blind, which if you're familiar with Lanthimos' filmography (THE LOBSTER) you probably will be.
THE KILLING OF A SACRED DEER plays Fantastic Fest this September, and premieres in theatres on October 27th. Christ, it's good. I advise against missing it.
