It's Day 3! The first couple days of the festival have been jam-packed with goodness, but there's still a ton of fun in store. Pros always remember that Fantastic Fest is a marathon, not a sprint, so please hydrate, get some rest and massage your eyeballs in between films.
Read the recap from Day One here.
A reminder! Every day we'll be posting Facebook Live videos of various Q&As and events. Tonight we'll have footage of the intros and Q&As for BAT PUSSY, WORLD OF TOMORROW, 1922, BRAWL IN CELL BLOCK 99, THE SQUARE, GEMINI, SUPER DARK TIMES and JUVENILE, plus video from the much-loved Fantastic Debates! So make sure you're following us on Facebook to stay caught up with all of that fun - and if you or your friends want to attend Fantastic Fest screenings without a badge, you can check this link every day to see what movies are available for non-badgeholders to purchase tickets!
Lots of great events during the day yesterday! ANNA AND THE APOCALYPSE was a huge crowd-pleaser, and the film descended on Fantastic Fest with a big bang: a bagpipe zombie march down the side of South Lamar and out into the pavilion. We also had a live recording of the celebrated Doug Loves Movies podcast at the Highball, and our annual guest luncheon, complete with customary champagne sabering.
Finally, we mashed our way into a monster bash in honor of MONSTER SQUAD and the upcoming making-of documentary! Footage from last night's party at the Highball will pop up on the doc, so soon you'll all be ***stars***
Go forth and enjoy the rest of your Day 3! We'll see you here again tomorrow.
