A group of troubled kids at a residential treatment center are forced to work together to defeat an ancient creature that is stalking and feeding on all of the naughty children within the facility.
Tucked deep within a low-income barrio, the inhabitants of a residential treatment center for troubled kids are shaken when they find one of the children half-eaten and mutilated in his room. Flora, the woman who runs the facility, scrambles to get to the bottom of the murder while the other kids’ paranoia grows stronger. Fingers are pointed at fellow residents and the staff members. But as the nights pass, more kids are found mauled and masticated while others scream about a monster coming to their rooms, sniffing them in their beds, disguising itself as the last child it gobbled up. The remaining kids each have their own issues, and while they would never consider one another friends, they are forced to work together in order to stop the killings, and to keep from being the monster’s next meal. Assuming the Cucuy was attracted to the facility because of all the “bad” kids inside, they discover that Flora knows more than she first let on, and that she may be responsible for luring the creature to their beds.
