Quench your thirst for blood AND intellectual disputation with another installment of the Fantastic Debates, where the burning questions facing the fan community are resolved once and for all via formal debate followed by in-ring fisticuffs. Last year festival director Tim League squared off against the star of the Irish bare-knuckle boxing documentary KNUCKLE while Lord of the Rings stars Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan waged both verbal and physical war.

    Director E.L. Katz and stars Pat Healy, Ethan Embry, and David Koechner dares someone in the audience to get the title of the film tattooed on their body. Is someone up to the challenge? Fantastic Fest is the largest genre film festival in the U.S., specializing in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action and just plain fantastic movies from all around the world. In years past we have presented the world premieres of THERE WILL BE BLOOD, APOCALYPTO, CITY OF EMBER, ZOMBIELAND, and GENTLEMEN BRONCOS, while our guest roster has included such talent as Mel Gibson, Bill Murray, Dolph Lundgren, Jemaine Clement, Paul Rudd, Bill Pullman, Paul Thomas Anderson, Kevin Smith, Jon Favreau, George Romero, Darren Aronofsky and Mike Judge. We also feature world, national and regional premieres of new, up-and-coming genre films.

Closing out the Fantastic Corpse project is Fantastic Fest veteran Eugenio Mira, here at the festival presenting his newest film Grand Piano. Eugenio has only 4 hours to figure out how to bring this innovative, challenging and fantastic short film to an end.
