Fantastic Fest 2010 Bumper - Plan B

Every year for Fantastic Fest we ask the Filmmaking Frenzy community to put together a bunch of bumpers that we'll use to introduce each screening. This year, Harry Knowles asked filmmakers to make a 15 - 30 second spot based around the subject "inappropriate," and boy did you guys deliver.

Next year's contest will still be all about being inappropriate, but we're also asking people to get some drugs in there. So start thinking of inappropriate drug shorts now, and maybe your video can be an official Fantastic Fest bumper in 2011!

It's day one of The Fantastic Corpse Project, the short film powered by Dell Precision Workstations and AMD FirePro technology. He's a natural for the Badass Hall of Fame. After all, he's the guy who made Werner Herzog eat his shoe. And he's the guy who invented the Interrotron, an interview system that allows his subjects to maintain eye contact with him while still looking directly into the camera lens. He helped get a man off Death Row with The Thin Blue Line. And most of all Errol Morris has spent his whole career following his own path and his own vision, telling the stories that spoke to him most personally.

The Fantastic Debates have become the most highly anticipated special event at Fantastic Fest. At the Fantastic Debates, press, filmmakers & film professionals enter the arena for a formal debate followed by two rounds of boxing. In the ring, the great issues facing the fan community are solved once and for all, first by words, then by fisticuffs. Four debates are scheduled, culminating in the main event, a bout featuring Fantastic Fest Co-Founder Tim League.
