Fantastic Fest 2012 Recap

Fantastic Fest is the largest genre film festival in the U.S., specializing in horror, fantasy, sci-fi, action and just plain fantastic movies from all around the world. In years past we have presented the world premieres of THERE WILL BE BLOOD, APOCALYPTO, CITY OF EMBER, ZOMBIELAND, and GENTLEMEN BRONCOS, while our guest roster has included such talent as Mel Gibson, Bill Murray, Dolph Lundgren, Jemaine Clement, Paul Rudd, Bill Pullman, Paul Thomas Anderson, Kevin Smith, Jon Favreau, George Romero, Darren Aronofsky and Mike Judge. We also feature world, national and regional premieres of new, up-and-coming genre films.

    It's day two of The Fantastic Corpse Project, the short film powered by Dell Precision Workstations and AMD FirePro technology. Day two began with Fantastic Fest favorite Nacho Vigalondo. With only the first minute Oren came up with the day before - Nacho launched head first into writing, directing and producing his minute of the film in 4 short hours.     It's day one of The Fantastic Corpse Project, the short film powered by Dell Precision Workstations and AMD FirePro technology. Day one brought us director Oren Carmi, whose film GOLDBERG and EISENBERG is nominated for the Dell & AMD Next Wave Award. Hailing from Tel Aviv Israel, Oren kicked off the 5 minute short film.  We can't reveal what Oren came up with, but you can get some hints from the behind the scenes stills and this recap video.
